There are doors in our lives that keep us from becoming the women that we would love to be. Those doors, separate our fears from the dreams inside of us screaming to be heard. I’ve faced these doors many times in my life. I believed I wasn’t strong enough to open them so I hid behind my insecurities and carried the weight of my flaws only to wake up the next morning to be in font of that same door again.
Behind the doors in each of our lives are the paths that have been created for us to run on and it’s up to us to develop enough courage to open them. I could never inspire you tog o where I’ve never been, so join me as I walk through my door and become everything that I was destined to be.
Anyone afraid of monsters? I am, and I feel they are waiting for me with every decision I make to do something out of my comfort zone. I know they aren’t real but I’ve allowed them to turn the knob of opportunity and shut the door when I’m not sure what’s going to happen next. I’ve allowed them to tell me where I could go and how I would get there because I was afraid of the distance but now I see behind this door is my journey. Behind this door I see women embracing how great they could be if they believe in themselves. Behind this door I see women understanding their value. Behind this door I see you.
I stand before this door today strong enough to face what’s on the other side. Everything I’ve prayed for and dreamt about is at my fingertips because nothing is impossible when you have faith to walk through the doors in your life that have kept you from becoming who you want to be. Dreams do come true in real life. I have always wanted to start a blog but I never thought I had what it took to accomplish it. I had to leave my fears outside and shut the door behind me. It was uncomfortable yes, but it pushed me to become who I am today – fearless.
I encourage you all to open the doors in your lives, go the extra mile and work toward every dream that you have in your heart. Nothing is impossible when you have the confidence to believe. Work hard, dream big and don’t be afraid to OPEN THAT DOOR!
